We are seeking an experienced Project Governance & QA Manager to refine and optimize the project management frameworks and processes. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to enhance project methodologies, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and deliver consistent, efficient results. The role demands a thorough understanding of the SDLC and a commitment to quality assurance and governance

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing projects through all phases of the SDLC, from inception to completion;
  • A Formal training and certification in project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2;
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance practices, capable of independently conducting reviews, inspections, and assessments;
  • Proficiency in English with strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities;
  • Ability to analyze project data, generate reports, and provide insights for better decision-making;
  • Experience in project audit, governance, and compliance is required;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, patience, and a positive attitude towards managing multiple assignments;

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with Agile project management practices and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban;
  • Knowledge of project management software tools like MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana;

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies to ensure they are consistent, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals;
  • Conduct detailed inspections of each phase of the SDLC, ensuring adherence to predefined criteria, timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards;
  • Review project plans, task lists, resource allocations, risk management plans, and contingency strategies to identify issues and provide constructive feedback;
  • Ensure Project Managers adhere to established project management practices and the stipulated model through thorough governance and compliance checks;
  • Perform comprehensive QA reviews to ensure all required project artifacts are present, complete, and of high quality;
  • Conduct in-depth project reviews and assessments, offering detailed feedback and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement;
  • Lead and facilitate project and quality-related discussions, formalize outcomes, and ensure follow-up on agreed actions;
  • Provide necessary operational support to ensure smooth project execution and address any arising issues promptly.
