We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Vice President / Vice President (Senior / Chief Manager) to lead and manage web and portal technologies across PAN India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital transformation, project management, and application systems management. You will drive innovation in customer experience using cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, RPA, and BOTs, while ensuring the smooth delivery and maintenance of projects that align with business goals.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Education: B.E. in a relevant field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on portal and web applications.
- Experience with business applications (.Net/Java-based), Oracle/SQL databases, and UI/UX design.
- Hands-on experience with SDLC models (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with messaging platforms (WhatsApp, SMS, Email).
- Project Management: Proven track record in project and program management.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in the insurance sector, with a focus on application production support and project implementation.
- Ability to guide and manage cross-functional teams for work breakdown, allocation, and issue resolution.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Strong understanding of new technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and BOTs.
- Experience in digital/technology transformation projects.
- Proficiency in preparing Business Specification Documents and System Requirement Specification Documents.
Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Provide technical and architectural guidance to ensure best practices in customer journey mapping and experience.
- Market Research: Keep track of emerging trends and innovations in portal/web applications.
- Application Systems Management: Oversee design, maintenance, and optimization of application systems for better performance and customer satisfaction.
- Project Coordination: Lead collaboration between technology, project, and user teams to ensure on-time and successful project delivery.
- Vendor & User Management: Engage with vendors and users to deliver robust solutions and ensure project success.
- Operational Support: Manage ongoing support for deployed applications and ensure smooth functioning of business-as-usual processes.
- Performance Tracking: Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the defined KPIs (benefits, savings, TAT, etc.).
