An exciting opportunity for Java professional with experience in MSBI stack to develop / enhance high quality applications in an Agile environment of an established global financial institution.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Discipline;
- At least 5 years of application development experience in JAVA with exposure in MSBI stack;
- Proven experience in Java, SQL and SSIS;
- Well versed in TFS (Team Foundation Server), Power BI, GitHub, Azure Dev Ops;
- Exposure and experience in designing codes framework, writing efficient codes with minimal technical debt and writing effective unit and integration tests;
- Good communication skills and able to work with minimal supervision;
- Able to resolve minor or major of technical requests, inquiries, bug fixes and complaints;
- Eager to keep on learning and upgrading skillsets;
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Prior work experience in banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the respective platform codes using JAVA, configurations and unit testing;
- Perform complex database programming by writing SQL procedures on large-scale databases;
- Involved in building end-end ETL flows for DWH application, analyze data models and data quality analysis;
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements;
- Document and communicate technical designs;
- Ensure all support or project activities are in compliance to the quality assurance, audit specification, internal controls and standards;
- Provide up- to- date and accurate relevant documentation of changes, fixes, upgrades, enhancements of supported applications and implementation procedures in accordance to established standards.
