An exciting opportunity for a Full Stack .NET developer to play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the client's critical insurance applications. You will be working as an Application Developer to provide technical assistance for .NET applications, prioritizing SQL Server DB troubleshooting and collaborating with development teams for complex issue resolution. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus;
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing, supporting and troubleshooting .NET applications and SQL Server databases;
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database performance tuning;
  • Experience using .NET (C#, ASP, .NET Core, .NET Foundation), SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular), and RESTful API;
  • Proficiency in essential IDEs such as Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, and Notepad++ is required;
  • Expertise in version control systems like Git/GitHub and experience with cloud services, particularly AWS;
  • Good understanding with tools such as JIRA is also essential for effective project management and communication within the team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience working with Java, Oracle databases, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes;


  • Being responsible to provide technical support for .NET applications, with a particular emphasis on troubleshooting SQL Server DB-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution in adherence to service level agreements (SLAs);
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize performance, collaborating closely with development teams to escalate and address complex technical challenges effectively;
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases to guarantee optimal performance and reliability, executing database queries, scripts, and stored procedures for efficient data extraction and manipulation;
  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and index optimization, to ensure data integrity and system stability;
  • Log, track, and manage support incidents using a ticketing system, communicating effectively with end-users to understand their requirements and provide clear and concise resolutions;
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions meticulously for future reference and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team;
  • Work closely with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application deployment and operation, participating actively in cross-functional teams to contribute to the enhancement of applications and support processes;
  • Implement and maintain proactive monitoring solutions to identify potential issues before they impact users, developing and maintaining monitoring dashboards and reports to provide insights into application and database team.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to .NET development and SQL databases, sharing knowledge and providing training to colleagues to promote technical leadership and a culture of continuous learning within the team;
