We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to strategize, manage and lead in the IFRS project implementation.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or Actuarial Science or equivalent;
- At least 8 years of working experience in Accounting, Finance or Insurance industries;
- Good understanding of IFRS17 accounting standards or equivalent;
- Experienced with project implementation and working in project teams;
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills;
- Excellent communication and written skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in Finance Services;
- Understands data governance, data architecture and risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and monitor the implementation project of IFRS standards with finance, actuarial and IT teams;
- Deliver a functioning reliable IFRS17 reporting system and process development platform for IFRS17 compliant results;
- Handle governance, closing process, technical accounting results and disclosures of IFRS17;
- Ensure data sources are ready and support testing to meet disclosures;
- Liaise with stakeholders on design and planning of closing process for IFRS17;
- Monitoring and supporting generation of comparative figures for refining of the operation model;
- Support post go-live by guiding and supervising teams to handle issues, financial year-end closing, reporting and preparing financial statements.
