Our client is looking for a highly motivated leader to manage and lead the Level 2 Application Support team within the financial sector.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System or Information Technology;
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in IT Operations/Production support L2/L3 experience;
  • At least 6 years of experience in Support Service Delivery in Credit/Debit Cards;
  • At least 5 years of experience with Mainframe JCL/COBOL;
  • Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and routes to appropriate escalation groups;
  • Experience in managing vendors;
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills;
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise applications development, planning, re-engineering and cost optimizations;
  • Experience in ITIL Methodology.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • AS400/RPG Experience.


  • Lead the Level 2 Application Support Analysts Team;
  • Work closely with Level 1 and Level 2 support and development team to meet the business’s requirements;
  • Ensure incidents and problems are resolved according to SLA;
  • Manage cross functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, communicate complex incidents and underlying issues;
  • Performance analysis, fine tuning of real time and batch systems;
  • Evaluate operational readiness of new applications, flows and products;
  • Provide strong governance for applications, and manage production defects accordingly with the team;
  • Prioritization of issues, continuous service & process improvement, cost management and auditing;
  • Conduct monthly service review for SLAs tracking;
  • Facilitate and coordinate between the infrastructure and development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages;
  • Support the teams to ensure high level of support are provided.
