Our client is looking for a highly motivated leader to manage and lead the Level 2 Application Support team within the financial sector.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System or Information Technology;
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in IT Operations/Production support L2/L3 experience;
- At least 6 years of experience in Support Service Delivery in Credit/Debit Cards;
- At least 5 years of experience with Mainframe JCL/COBOL;
- Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and routes to appropriate escalation groups;
- Experience in managing vendors;
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills;
- Hands-on experience in enterprise applications development, planning, re-engineering and cost optimizations;
- Experience in ITIL Methodology.
Desirable Skill(s)
- AS400/RPG Experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Level 2 Application Support Analysts Team;
- Work closely with Level 1 and Level 2 support and development team to meet the business’s requirements;
- Ensure incidents and problems are resolved according to SLA;
- Manage cross functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, communicate complex incidents and underlying issues;
- Performance analysis, fine tuning of real time and batch systems;
- Evaluate operational readiness of new applications, flows and products;
- Provide strong governance for applications, and manage production defects accordingly with the team;
- Prioritization of issues, continuous service & process improvement, cost management and auditing;
- Conduct monthly service review for SLAs tracking;
- Facilitate and coordinate between the infrastructure and development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages;
- Support the teams to ensure high level of support are provided.
