We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to support Consumer Banking team on Data and Dashboards related requirements within Banking industry.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science;
- At least 2-4 years of experience as a Business, System or Data Analyst within banking industry;
- Hands-on experience in data querying (SQL);
- Experience in handling of data schemas and data wrangling;
- Involved in projects / initiatives, starting from Requirements Gathering, Functional Specs review to User Acceptance Testing and Live Verification;
- Very good proficiency in SQL queries/scripting and able to extract data from databases;
- Good Understanding of Stakeholder management and requirements gathering;
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in Consumer/Retail Credit domain;
- Knowledge of consumer credit loan systems and customer systems for cards and unsecured loan products.
Responsibilities
- Be a Part of Risk Management team and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to become an effective “bridge” between users and technology;
- Able to prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template;
- Should collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team;
- Responsible to handle large volume of data for analysis, wrangling, reconciliation and testing;
- Actively partner the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions are properly implemented in line with the user needs;
- Responsible for overall UAT management in terms of timelines, batch runs and managing the testing results;
- Responsible for understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
