Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to work on the core migration project for a leading Financial Services organization;

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in Information Technolgy / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates;
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst in a project setting within Insurance/ Financial Services Industry;
  • Proven experience in General Insurance sectors including travel, motor, property, health, and accidents;
  • Expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements, developing functional specifications, and writing user stories;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic and critical approach to addressing challenges;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment;

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies;
  • PMP / Scrum certified.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of business objectives, requirements, and challenges;
  • Elicit and document user requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications and user stories;
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes, proposing actionable solutions to address these gaps;
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business process models, use cases, and other relevant documentation to support system development and process improvements;
  • Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess potential solutions, providing recommendations to stakeholders based on findings;
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure the accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications;
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases;
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in business processes, systems, and workflows;
