We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Project Manager with experience in IFRS17 to drive delivery of IFRS data initiatives within budget, scope and timeline.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;
- At least 10 years of experience in overseeing large-scale project management;
- Exhibit strong analytical and structured thinking skills;
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication abilities;
- Proficient in stakeholder management;
- Showcase a proven track record of successfully leading and completing a minimum of 3 end-to-end implementation projects for major applications/systems, each with a budget exceeding $1 million and a project team consisting of 20-30 members;
- Possess the capability to delve into specific details, such as data mapping and validation, when necessary to resolve obstacles, all while maintaining a comprehensive view of the project from start to finish;
- Exhibit strong project management, budget management, vendor management, change management, and facilitation skills;
- Display a high level of organization, adaptability, meticulousness, responsibility, and follow-through;
- Possess sharp analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex information from various sources, prepare and present analyses and reports, creatively address challenges, and deliver business-focused solutions;
- Excel in organizational skills and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to prioritize, multitask, achieve business objectives, and consistently maintain a customer-centric approach;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a track record of effectively engaging and influencing key stakeholders and vendors to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in project management and delivery within financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage in collaborative efforts with multiple stakeholders, including both IT and business teams, both within the Program team and across various departments;
- Assume responsibility for the project's planning, organization, and direction, with a focus on ensuring timely, cost-effective, and scope-compliant completion;
- Create, monitor, and oversee the progress of tasks and activities related to data projects in alignment with the overarching project plan;
- Facilitate the coordination of activities among diverse accountable stakeholders, ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan;
- Efficiently communicate progress updates;
- Demonstrate proficiency in using MS Project for project planning, monitoring, and tracking;
- Proactively identify and address potential risks that could impact project delivery and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate these risks.
