We are seeking for a self-motivated Data Analyst with data management and testing experience within the banking and financial industry.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computing, or a closely related field;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of analytics or data analysis, preferably within the banking or financial industry;
- Proficient understanding of data analytics principles and techniques, encompassing data architecture, data transformation, data modeling, and data visualization;
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to conduct thorough issue investigations and root cause analyses;
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative team player, capable of engaging directly with business stakeholders for requirements gathering and issue resolution;
- Proficiency in utilizing MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Prior experience in Banking;
- Experience on Big Data Platform using Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Oozie.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various business departments to comprehensively grasp and assess their analytics requirements;
- Undertake essential data sourcing and profiling to gain insights into pertinent data origins and configurations;
- Suggest and formulate the optimal end-to-end analytics solution encompassing data modeling, data transformation, and visualization;
- Aid and orchestrate pertinent project tasks, comprising project scheduling, workgroup gatherings, user instruction, and assistance;
- Create essential project documentation, which includes functional specifications, testing scenarios, project demonstrations, and user training resources;
- Offer indispensable assistance to business teams in investigating data issues and fulfilling ad-hoc data requests.
