We're hiring for a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop cloud best practices and guide the organization's cloud application and adoption. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic organizational planning, preferably within the technology services industry;
  • A broad knowledge base across various IT domains, with a specific emphasis on cloud services;
  • Proven experience in developing software systems that generate Intellectual Property value for clients;
  • Demonstrable expertise in data analysis methodologies, tools, and technologies;
  • Proficiency in software and enterprise design patterns;
  • Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration technologies;
  • Strong understanding of the service management lifecycle, from development to retirement;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to comprehend technical infrastructure and architecture concepts;
  • Knowledge of the service provider ecosystem and industry best practices;
  • Strong practical skills in Linux and Windows system administration, particularly in cloud or virtualization environments;
  • Proven experience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure;
  • Experience working with seamless and automated build scripts for efficient release management;
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with tagging strategies and implementation.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience in multi cloud platform AWS/AZURE/GCP, will be an added value. 

Responsibilities
 

  • Ensuring alignment of company's multi-cloud platforms with the requirements from business, technology function, company compliance, regulators, and governments across all markets;
  • Understanding the solution and rollout landing zones of the cloud platforms;
  • Collaborating with IT team members to establish new best practices for multi-cloud orchestration and security controls;
  • Designing and implementing solutions for continuous delivery of an enterprise software system hosted in Kubernetes;
  • Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources using industry standard tools and technologies;
  • Building, managing, and operating infrastructure and configuration components using automation and infrastructure-as-code principles;
  • Acting as a knowledgeable resource for peers through education and code reviews;
  • Staying informed about related projects and industry trends, promoting innovative practices within the team;
  • Advocating and modelling coding and collaboration practices, conducting code reviews, and providing feedback and suggestions for process improvement;
  • Evaluating multi-cloud platform solutions in the market based on various criteria and selecting the most suitable solution aligned with company's technology strategy.
