  • We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Engineer to work in the banking and financial services industry.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • At least Diploma in Computer Science or IT;
  • Experience in Data Centre / Enterprise IT Operations and Support;
  • Basic knowledge and experience in IP Network, switches, basic network components and networking protocols i.e. TCP/IP;
  • Experience and/or knowledge in Data Centre related infrastructure;
  • Good working knowledge in various Operating Systems (OS) i.e. Linux and Windows;
  • Conversant in basic troubleshooting in issues in Windows / Linux systems and Networking;
  • Proactive, responsible, good work attitude and a team player;
  • Good interpersonal communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience in banking industry.

Responsibilities

  • Strategise and improve the operations (Security, Keys, Media management) process and SOP;
  • Review Data Centre operation risk and work with stakeholders to mitigate identified risks;
  • Manage security team to ensure data centres, server rooms and LAN rooms security requirement address the ongoing security threat;
  • Support and ensure regional teams compliant with Groups Standard and Policy;
  • Any other ad- hoc responsibilities such as Media Management and such.
