We are looking for a meticulous and independent professional to provide support for market data reviews and administrative tasks for Asset & Investment inventory management system/platform within the Banking & Financial Services domain.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science/ Finance (or equivalent);
- Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in financial industry, preferably asset management;
- Experience in user access administration;
- Experience in market data vendor and contract management;
- Able to work well under pressure and a good team player;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills and organization skills;
- Sense of ownership / responsibility with assignments and can-do attitude;
- Independent worker with excellent time management and strong organizational skills in a fast paced, deadline centric and multi-hatted environment.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with platforms such as Bloomberg AIM and FactSet will be an advantage;
- Experience with Excel VBA programming and SQL will be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high standards of controls for system admin, checks, and an efficient validation workflow is in place for system processes;
- Assist in review of market data subscription agreements, risk assessment and contracting related enquiries;
- Assist in the day-to-day operations for order management system (Bloomberg Asset & Investment Manager “AIM”) and user access administration for all other platforms;
- Maintain issue log and conduct periodic review with vendors to escalate high priority issues;
- Perform regular user access reviews, static data reviews and assist in audit reviews;
- Develop, document, and implement procedure manual to enforce system administration related policies and standards;
- Assist to manage vendor contracts related to platforms and market data subscriptions;
- Assist with new platform/market data subscription, termination, and contract renewal process;
- Assist business unit with market data assessment prior to subscription and termination;
- Work closely with Finance Team to review invoices and follow up with vendors for any discrepancies;
- Consolidate and maintain the vendor inventory list to provide reporting on platforms and market data spend by region/business unit.
