Deployment Lead

We are looking for a leader who will be responsible for the detailed solution deployment plan, preparation, set-up, readiness and cutover activities. You must be excited to manage business stakeholders and multiple vendors to conduct and management a phased solution deployment across all the client’s operations. If you are an organized leader who pays close attention to detail and enjoys planning complex and large-scale SAP & Data Platforms migrations/deployment, this role is for you!

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems;
• Has at least 13-15 years of working experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 6-7 years in large-scale project management;
• Has a successful track record of leading and delivering at least 4-5 major applications/systems implementation projects end-to-end in SAP and Cloud (AWS)(>$5-10m, 80-100 pax in the project team);
• Has the ability to resolve impediments by stepping into the details but maintains full visibility of the project’s end-to-end view;
• Possesses strong project management, change management, and facilitation skills;
• Has sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively, and achieve business-focused solutions;
• Has excellent organizational skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, achieve business goals, perform, and always work with a customer-focused approach;
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and vendors to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes;
• Possesses analytical and structured skills;
• Has excellent communication skills at a C-level.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Prior experience in financial domain;
• Has certifications in AGILE/project/program/portfolio management such as PSM, PMP, CITPM, PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, MoP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a comprehensive deployment plan for integrating solutions with support from multiple vendors;
• Lead and coordinate solution deployments across multiple sites, ensuring that deployment plans and activities are communicated and adequately resourced to support users during the transition;
• Ensure high-quality manual and automated data migration;
• Provide written documentation describing a project or program’s overall Deployment strategy;
• Identify risks, cross-application dependencies, and downstream impacts for each release;
• Establish and communicate the overall Deployment plan with senior stakeholders such as program management, business unit leads, and the CXO;
• Conduct post-deployment reviews and evaluate, document, and implement recommendations for improvement;
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations;
• Identify, resolve, and manage deployment risks and issues;
• Track and report on solution deployment issues;
