We are looking for highly motivated individuals to be part of the team to support the banking (Finance) systems and applications.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma / Degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Business Information Technology;
  • 1-2 years of experience providing support to business systems and applications in banking or financial service industry (FSI);
  • Experience using Microsoft Office – Excel
  • Good understanding of accounting policies and banking regulations;
  • Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and routes to appropriate escalation groups;
  • Effective communicator with excellent communication skills;
  • Team player with good analytical skill;
  • Aptitude for system-related maintenance and operational process control and risk management.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Prior experience in the banking industry,

Responsibilities

  • Part of the BAU (Business-As-Usual) team to provide business support to Finance systems and application within the bank.
  • Responsible to run monthly health-check (data consolidation, data verification) to identify any abnormalities and to highlight any major data inconsistency;
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation (e.g. update cost centre A to cost centre B);
  • Assist to perform ad-hoc system configuration updates and support production deployment activities;
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users to provide a more effective production support environment;
  • Provide root cause analysis techniques to determine cause and resolve complex system issues or escalate to application managers and the management team (if required).
