We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Technical Specialist for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional ABAP development and support for client’s SAP ERP system. You will collaborate closely with functional analysts to gather business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality development deliverables.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 programming with SAP development tools;
- Strong expertise in SAP Dialog Programming, ABAP/4 Dictionary, Reports (SQ, Interactive ALV, Logical database, Report formatting and events), Data Migration (BDC, LSMW), Enhancements (BADI, Customer and User exit, and forms), and Forms (SAP Scripts, Smart Forms);
- Strong experience in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Model and in SAP HANA Studio, Fiori, SAPUI5, JavaScript & JQuery Framework, OData Development, and third-party system integrations;
- Good understanding of SAP business processes in Finance, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Project System, or HCM;
- Proficiency in SAP Tables, Infotypes, Fields, Domains, and creating Search Helps;
- Ability to identify first-level basis issues and analyze traces;
- Experience in RFC and XML-related programming, OSS and SAP Notes;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- SAP Certification;
- Experience with the (agile) scrum development methodology;
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom SAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms to solve complex business problems based on functional requirements;
- Provide support for all levels of testing (unit, user, integration), problem-solving, and bug fixing, including SAP Portal and production issues;
- Perform performance tuning of programs to improve efficiency;
- Provide post-implementation support; diagnose application problems and develop effective solutions;
- Collaborate with functional specialists and business users to ensure timely completion of assignments based on agreed-upon deadlines;
- Brain-storm with the functional team to provide innovative solutions and proactively communicate concerns and updates to stakeholders;
- Ensure technical and functional specifications align with confirmed requirements.
