An exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst to support the Data Operations, Data Management and Data Integrations and Data Platforms of our client, a leading firm in the E-commerce Transportation Services industry.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
  • Has at least 4 years of working experience in design & development in one or more of the following areas:
    • Data Operations;
    • Enterprise data warehousing and analytics projects;
    • Data Management tools implementation and support;
    • Data integration using commercial tools;
  • Strong technical knowledge in Oracle/Azure technologies;
  • Deep understanding of technical and support requirements for Databases, Data Warehousing, Data Management tools and Data Operations; 
  • Knowledge of database modelling and design in Data Warehousing context;
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and coordination skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teams;
  • Able to convince and interact with stakeholders of all levels.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Working experience with cloud native design and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert on data operations, data management tooling and support, data integration of operational systems and support of operational data services;
  • Conducts research and analysis into issues of varying complexity within area of technical specialism;
  • Communicate and present the reports, business plans, project plans to key stakeholders including senior management;
  • Keep abreast of all latest best practices, tools and technologies related to the area of expertise and provide recommendation on how to better improve current setup within the company;
  • Develop, recommend, and execute tools and processes to assist in the achievement of goals;
  • Design process improvements, systems developments, or the implementation of best practice;
  • Proactively identify and analyse risks, opportunities, and constraints and determine the best course of action;
  • Lead cross functional and internal/external projects and initiatives from execution to post-implementation reviews;
  • Ensure on-going compliance with company processes and procedures, relevant legislation and external regulations, and predefined agreements;
  • Assist in department level audit and notify management of any non-compliance issues;
  • Build and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, including external vendors, to influence optimal business decisions.
