Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to work on the core migration project for a leading Financial Services organization.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Information Technolgy / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates;
- At least 5 years of working experience as a Business Analyst in a project setting within Insurance/ Financial Services Industry;
- Working experience in any of these areas: General Insurance – travel, motor, property, health and accidents is required;
- Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating functional specifications, and user stories;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies;
- PMP / Scrum certified.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges;
- Gather and document user requirements and translate it into functional specifications and user stories;
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and propose solutions to bridge the gaps;
- Develop and maintain business process models, use cases, and other relevant documentation;
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to stakeholders;
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications;
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve business processes, systems, and workflows.
