Our client is seeking a cellular Network Engineer with good experience on the 5G core aspect to join their Team.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in implementing and supporting cellular / mobile network communications and solutions;
- Strong knowledge on cellular network systems and architecture including cellular cores, radio access networks;
- Knowledge on 5G technologies, especially on 5G Core aspects and solutions across the different network functions such as UPF, NSSF, UDM, SMF, NEF;
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within the organization verbal and written;
- Meticulous and attention to details and able to resolve complex problems from operational as well as technical perspective.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Knowledge on cellular RF communication technologies .
Responsibilities
- Part of the Infrastructure team to architect, setup, configure, analyze and troubleshoot different 5G core deployments and solutions;
- Conduct research to evaluate new emerging technologies and maintain up-to-date trends in cellular / mobile network communication with focus on 5G;
- Collaborate with industry players, service providers and academic partners to evaluate various wireless 5G technologies and solutions;
- Work closely with various partners to support the various operational and developmental activities in the investigation and validating of new capabilities within the 5G space;
- Ensure the specifications and configuration of the 5G core solutions implemented are in-line with the best practices.
