An exciting opportunity as an Application Support professional to enhance and maintain the service level of Java applications for a leading e-commerce service provider in Singapore. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems;
  • Has sound knowledge in Java, PHP, SQL, Unix, HTML, JS, CSS and JSP;
  • Prior experience in Level 1 support for applications usage, cause of applications defect and data related issues;
  • Has flair for troubleshooting of software applications and customer oriented mindset;
  • Self-driven and a strong team player;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • ITIL Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first level technical contact point for internal and external customers;
  • Handle troubleshooting of applications issues, analyze defect for both application and data related matters;
  • Responsible to assist in resolving issues and follow-up on cases;
  • Escalate to next level for complex issues and track to ensure problems are resolved within Service-Level Agreement;
  • Able to perform standby duty for technical support on weekends.
